Acrylic on 30X20 canvas. The story of a series of unfortunate events.
Can I say how much we love this? I think I think about this picture every time I think of this event. It is just so accurate.
Ha ha ha! You just gave me a good laugh. I have to hide that friggin thing now that I'm participating! Funny to make art out of blue-hot anger... About 3 weeks ago Ms. K wrote me an apology for the bad management of the year before and asked me back, but I am definitely going in this year's event with both eyes open. Just gonna shut up and chalk, check my ego at the door. I doubt it will be any more organized.
haha. I didn't know you were participating this year. Wow, I would expect change, but that is really nice of her to apologize. But yeah, going in knowing what to expect is better.. Don't expect organization, respect, etc. but it's a nice place to meet other artists or see other artists you don't normally see.
Thats really cool! I like the concept and your style Great job
Great work! May I ask, where you´ve got your inspiriration from?
I work as a street painter at chalk festivals around the country. This is one particular festival that has sold out to the crowd's demands for 3-D sensational art (you can only "see" 3-D art through your camera or i-phone, to the naked eye it makes no sense). The public doesn't care about fine art anymore - we 2-D chalkers are on the street in the upper left corner while the crowd worships the 3-D pig and the festival chairperson begs for donations to pay these artists thousands and thousands (we 2-D artists work for free).
